Ayurveda for Everyday Life has been rebranded

Do you want to learn about Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga and how it can help you to find inner harmony? Maybe you have learnt some about it, but are struggling with how to apply its brilliant wisdom to your daily life.

 Don’t worry, I’ve got you.

I’m passionate about how Ayurvedic holistic living tools can help us to lead healthier, happier and more fulfilled lives. In this course I’ll share some key principles of Ayurvedic theory and teachings and, most importantly, I’ll help you discover how you can use them in your daily life right now. All drawn from my own experience of using Ayurveda in my everyday life.

The Ayurveda for Everyday Life Course is delivered through a unique combination of text, video/audio lessons, accessible movement sessions, meditations and comprehensive workbooks and journaling prompts.

Let me tell you about the course

What you’ll get from this course

  • An understanding of some of the key principles of Ayurvedic theory (doshas, gunas, pairs of opposites, seasonal living).
  • A new framework through which to look at and understand yourself and the world around you.
  • A deeper understanding of yourself, and your own path to inner harmony for where you are in your life right now.
  • A connection to, and trust of, your own inner knowing and intuition.
  • You’ll get lifetime access to the course (for as long as it exists) so you can return to it again and again.
  • Weekly 75 minute group coaching calls to help you go deeper, address anything that’s come up and connect further to yourself and the material (optional).
  • A private Facebook group for the duration of your first course intake.
  • Email support from me throughout the course.
  • Two live Q&A sessions with me, one in the middle and one at the end of the 6 weeks.

If you want to learn all the intricacies and depth of Ayurvedic theory, this course isn’t for you. But I can recommend some books and other people to learn from. If you want to understand some of the key principles of Ayurveda, and use them to help you find your way to your own state of inner harmony then this course is for you my friend. This course is not about the medicinal aspects of Ayurveda, but more on the lifestyle aspects. Read on to find out what we’ll cover.

How this course is delivered

This course is split into 6 modules, designed to be spread over 6 weeks (but you can go faster or slower if you like). As well as text, videos and workbooks you’ll also get meditations and movement practices (suitable for all bodies and abilities) as I’ve found that an embodied approach is both helpful for learning and necessary to create lasting positive change in our lives.

Over the 6 weeks you’ll have access to our private Facebook group where you can ask questions, share insights and be part of a supportive community. You’ll have lifetime access to the course (but not the Facebook group) so you can return whenever you need to.

Throughout the 6 weeks of the course you can also email me with any questions. Plus I’ll be hosting two live Q&A sessions during the course.

When you purchase with group coaching the group will get together once a week for 75 minutes, at a time agreed by the group. We’ll discuss how you’re feeling, how you’re finding the content, any challenges or questions that have come up for you. You’ll support each other, and have much more tailored support from me too.

What we’ll cover

Week 1: Welcome, Introductions and Key Concepts

Week 2: Daily Routines and the Role of Ritual

Week 3: Nourishment

Week 4: Work and Relationships

Week 5: Relaxation, Play and the Home

Week 6: Bringing it All Together

About Me

I’m Ellen, a certified yoga teacher and holistic health practitioner with a focus on Ayurveda. I run Being Change,  where I support people to live their healthiest, happiest and most fulfilled lives. I work with people through 1:1 and group coaching, online courses, workshops and e-books. I’ve been told that I make Ayurveda accessible to everyday modern life. You can hear me talking about Ayurveda with Brooke McAlary on the Slow Home Podcast here.

Through all of my work I strive to support people to return to their own innate wisdom, turn away from the ‘shoulds’ of society and towards their ability to find inner harmony within themselves.

Ellen is clearly incredibly knowledgeable about so many fascinating things. I love the way she weaves this into sessions. Amanda Bush

My batteries have been running on low for a while now and really needed a boost.  I have taken lots of classes in mindfulness & meditation but I have to say that yours was the most helpful and easy to follow.  You are an excellent teacher Ellen. Sally Maughan

I am always impressed with Ellen’s extensive knowledge of the body’s various physical and neurological systems and the internal and environmental factors that can affect wellbeing. Lois Gyves
