I teach yoga classes in Manchester UK primarily in Prestwich and North Manchester. I teach a mixed movement practice drawing from different approaches including biomechanics, hatha yoga, somatics and vinyasa flow yoga.* I'm an eternal student and continue to learn and develop my understanding of movement, the human body and natural health and wellbeing. I've completed further training in Posture and Alignment, Natural Movement with Katy Bowman, Yoga with Resistance Bands Teacher Training, Trauma Training for Yoga Teachers and Yoga, Ayurveda and Holistic Health.

*All of these words may well mean nothing to you! So, what are my classes actually like? My classes are accessible, playful, fun and gently challenging. You will be encouraged to explore how your own body moves and feels in a safe and supportive environment.

Online Classes

Please note that due to the current Coronavirus Pandemic I am now teaching classes on Zoom through Creative Calm Yoga Studio. My classes are Tuesday 7:30 – 8:30pm Yoga for All and Thursday 6:15 – 7:15pm Yoga for Beginners. Both are £7 drop in, or £24 for 4 classes and you can book online here.

I don’t care if  you can touch your toes or balance on one fingertip.

I care about you finding your flow, your joy and a greater richness in your life through connection to your body.

Flexibility and strength are by-products of yoga, not the aim and certainly not a requirement.

Mindful Strength and Stretch at Creative Calm Studio, Prestwich – Tuesdays 9:30am – 10:30am

Combining Yoga movements and shapes with functional strength work to help build and maintain bone density, support joint health and build muscle strength. This class uses props such as resistance bands, blankets and yoga blocks to help add the strengthening element to our practice. All props provided, no previous experience necessary – suitable for all levels and bodies.

Gentle flowing sequences inviting you to explore how your body moves and get curious about movement. Suitable for all levels from beginners to those with more experience. Classes are taught from a perspective of supporting our seasonal health and wellbeing.

Yoga for Beginners at Creative Calm Studio, Prestwich – Thursdays 6:15pm – 7:15pm

In this class we’ll explore common yoga poses, key yoga concepts and you’ll be supported to start exploring the different ways your body moves. Ideal for beginners wanting to get to know the basics before attending other classes, and also for those with more experience wanting to get back to basics and slow it down.

Corporate Classes
